how to get adsense approval faster

AdSense is an ad network managed by Google, displaying ads on websites in exchange for revenue for the website owner. Google advertises products and services on the websites, and in return, the owners earn money. AdSense pays for every click on an ad, meaning you get paid immediately when a visitor clicks on any ad on your website.

AdSense stands out as the most popular ad network globally, predominantly used by bloggers to monetize their websites.

As mentioned earlier, I applied for AdSense for one of my websites, intending to make money through ad displays.

How to get Adsense approval faster

If you want to get AdSense approval, there are some dos and don’ts you need to consider.

Also, I have realized that most people are eager to make money with their website. Of course, that is your main motive as a blogger but you need to bear in mind that blogging is not a get-rich scheme. It takes some time before you can make money with your blog.

If you keep this concept in mind you will not be in a hurry to apply for Adsense. Being in haste to get AdSense approval is what causes AdSense rejection for most bloggers. This is because, being in haste, will lead you to write poor content, forget some necessary pages, and other factors that are required by Adsense for approval.

Now let’s first look dos for adsense approval.

  • Write high-quality and unique content: 20+
  • Do all necessary pages: About Us, Contact Us, Privacy Policy,, and Affiliate Disclaimer
  • Connect your site to Google Search Console, Google Analytics, and Google Site kit
  • Submit all pages, categories, and posts to the Site map
  • Index all pages and articles
  • Domain age of least a month old

Let’s also look at the dont’s of getting Adsense approval

  • Don’t Focus on making money so quick with your blog
  • Don’t write poor content with the aim of getting 20+ articles
  • Don’t leave pages blank
  • Don’t leave social media icons unlinked.

I want us to go into detail about the point above so that you can get a better understanding.

1. Write high-quality and unique content: 20+

The articles or posts should provide maximum value to the consumer or reader. The article should be able to answer the questions of the reader. It should be based on E-E-A-T which means Expertise, Experience, Authority, and Trustworthiness. This means that your content should show a sense of experience and expertise and should be able to attract trust from your readers.

This concept by Google not only helps you get AdSense approval but also helps you boost visibility on search engines. E-E-A-T is not a ranking factor but it somehow helps boost your search engine visibility.

Also, the content should be unique. Unique content means that it is plagiarism-free. It should be something created by you that people can have value from.

Do not use copyrighted images. You can get copyright-free images on Pixabey and Pixels.

There is no fixed number of articles required for AdSense approval but you should write at least 20+ contents. Try as much as possible to make your content lengthy. You should write at least 1500 words for each article. This does not only help you get Adsense approval but also helps you rank higher on Google. But you should make sure the article provides value to the reader.

On I wrote 42 articles before applying for Adsense and I got approved in less than 24 hours. But I wouldn’t say you should also write 42 contents. Rather you should write more than 20 articles before applying. However, you can follow my footsteps by writing 42 articles, and you are definitely going to be accepted once it provide value.

2. Do all necessary pages: About Us, Contact Us, Privacy Policy, and Affiliate Disclaimer

It is very important to do certain pages on your blog for Adsense approval. The About Us, Contact Us, and Privacy policies are the most important pages for Adsense approval, as the affiliate disclaimer if your articles contain affiliate links.

On my website, ensured the About Us, Contact Us, privacy policy and affiliate disclaimer pages were created before applying for Adsense.

Why is it important to do these pages?

Let’s take a look at each of them.

About Us

The About Us page describes the goal or objectives of the website. On this page, the author can share his vision and passion that led to the creation of the blog. This creates a sense of connection between the website owner and the readers.

If you check he wrote a full story about his life as a blogger, how he got into blogging, and how far his life has changed through blogging.

The About page shows that the website is managed by real people. Finally, it shows credibility and trustworthiness.

Contact Us

The Contact page also shows trust. It gives website visitors the opportunity to reach out to you when they need help or some clarifications.

The contact page shows the legitimacy of the website.

Statistically, most websites without contact information turn out to be spammy and involved in scam activities. This is why it is important to have this page in order to have AdSense approval.

Privacy Policy

Privacy policy is a form of agreement between the website owner and the user. It allows users to decide whether to continue using a website or quit. This gives consumers more control over their personal information. It is also required legally to disclose your practices concerning personal information of people.

If you want to get AdSense approval you should not forget to create your privacy policy pages. If you lack legal knowledge in creating a privacy policy, you can consult a layer or get a generated one on Termly.

Affiliate Disclaimer

If your blog contains affiliate links that earn you commissions, you have to publish an affiliate disclaimer page. This page shows transparency and also builds trust. But if your site does not contain affiliate links, there is no need to worry about it.

Other pages that can be created are

  • Cookie Policy
  • DCMA and
  • GDPR and
  • CCPA

These pages can be created if necessary but the first step discussed earlier is the most important and you should not skip it.

3. Connect your site to Google Search Console, Google Analytics, and Google Site kit

Before you apply for Adsense, you need to connect your site to the following tools managed by Google;

  • Google Search Console
  • Google Analytics
  • Google Site Kit

The tools above help you monitor your website in terms of impressions, page views, and clicks. Connecting your website to these tools is free and mandatory only if you want to apply for Adsense.

Just visit the respective websites and follow the process to connect your site. It is easy to do.

4. Submit all pages, categories, and posts to a sitemap

Ensure to submit all your pages, categories, and posts to sitemaps. You can do this with the aid of the Google search console.

On the search console tool:

  • Find the sitemap page
  • Enter the URL of the page, post, or category
  • Click on submit.

Submitting your pages to sitemap helps google crawlers to discover the pages easily.

5. Index all articles

It is important to index all your articles. Indexing your articles makes them available on search engines. Articles that have not been indexed cannot appear on Google.

Use the Google Search Console URL inspection tool to submit all your articles. This is how to do it:

  • Go to GSC
  • Click on URL inspection
  • Enter the URL of the article
  • Press on ”enter”
  • If it has not been indexed, click on ”Request Indexing” to submit it to Google

Indexing may take place within a few minutes to days. My articles have been indexed within one to two minutes several times. Sometimes it takes some hours.

There are some plugins that can help index your articles automatically. Rankmath and Indexow can do that job. However, it is best to do manual checking on the GSC URL inspecting tool to be sure it is actually indexed. If not, then you have to follow the procedure above to index it.

6. Domain age of at least 1 month

It is understandable to get rejected if your domain is very young. That is why it is advisable to apply for AdSense when your domain is at least a month old.

On, I applied after 6 weeks (1 month and 2 weeks) and I got approved in less than 24 hours.

Now let’s look at the donts of getting Adsense approval. Certain things are overlooked most times which turn out to lead to rejection upon application.

7. Don’t Focus on making money so quick with your blog

Most people, especially new bloggers fail to get AdSense approval because they are in so much hurry to make money on their new website. This results in publishing poor content with the aim of reaching 20+ content. Google believes in quality so if your content is poor, there is a high probability that you might get rejected by Adsense.

You should bear in mind that blogging is not a get-rich scheme. It takes some time, about 6 months before you start earning a good amount of money on your website. If you keep this in mind, you will not rush to apply for Adsense.

In fact, don’t think about AdSense until your domain is a month old

8. Don’t leave pages blank

Do not leave pages blank because when the Google crawlers visit the page, they might assume the site is still under development hence you may be rejected. I have come across this situation several times where I observed websites that get rejected have pages that have no content.

This aspect is often overlooked but it is an important factor in getting Adsense approval.

9. Don’t leave social media icons unlinked

Leaving social media icons unlinked means that the site is still under development, and you might get rejected. Hence it is important to link all social icons. If you cannot manage them, then you have to take them off.
